More than 1,000 m² of photovoltaic panels generate the electricity we need. Any electricity not used immediately is stored in the innovative hydrogen storage system (Hy2Green by GKN Sinter Metals), allowing us to balance peak loads and cover supply gaps. If the sun doesn’t appear for several days – such as in winter, when it stays low – our wood chip heating plant, using wood from our own forest, and the wood gasification plant help to generate electricity. This ensures true sustainability and the highest possible level of energy self-sufficiency.

We also have the storage facilities right here on-site, which allows us to offer genuine zero km cuisine. This means we serve you an authentic, regional, seasonal, and organic breakfast and dinner—available for guests staying with us and external guests alike.
